My favourite drink this winter (and I’m sure I’ll drink this all year around) is definitely the Chai Latte. You ca find this delicious drink in a lot of cafes and restaurants nowadays. Only 1 problem.. the Chai powder they use, almost all contain cows milk. Hmmm.. Not cool! This is why I make it myself a lot and I thought, I will give you this little recipe too. It’s hardly called a recipe though, because I don’t want to tell you how to make tea. I just have to share this with you, as it’s super yummy. I’m sure you will love it! The only thing you need is a good Chai tea (Clipper – Love Me Truly / Yogi – Green Chai), the best milk there is (Oatly Foamable), some sweetness and a dash of cinnamon. It’s super easy, but oh so satisfying. If you have an electric milk foamer, then it’s even better, because then you can easily foam up the milk. It’s a great investment, haha! 1/4 cup Oatly foamable milk
1/2 tsp agave nectar
1/2 teaspoon palm sugar
dash of cinnamon
-Boil water and wait until it’s cooled down slightly (5-10 min), before you put the tea in. Make sure to leave a little space for the milk.
-Let the Chai tea sit in the water for 3-5 minutes.
-In the meantime foam up the milk.
-Stir in the agave nectar.
-Pour the foamy milk in the tea.
-Sprinkle the palm sugar and cinnamon on top.
